Gazprom Neft expands its aviation refuelling network in Kyrgyzstan

Gazpromneft-Aero, operator of Gazprom Neft’s aviation refuelling business, has acquired 51% of the charter capital in Osh International Airport’s aviation refuelling complex (in Kyrgyzstan). This new facility will manage “wing-tip” refuelling of domestic and international flights from Kyrgyzstan’s second most important passenger airport. Aviation fuel will be supplied from Gazprom Neft’s Omsk Refinery.

Osh International Airport is the most important transport hub connecting Kyrgyzstan’s southern regions with the country’s capital, Bishkek. International flights to more than 30 destinations — including Moscow, Delhi, and Istanbul — also operate from the airport, in addition to domestic flights. Flights are operated by carriers including Avia Traffic, Air Manas, Tez Jet, Jazeera Airways, Aeroflot, S7 Group, Nordwind, Ural Airlines and others.

«Expanding our own retail network — to more than 100 refuelling complexes — is one of the key areas in Gazpromneft-Aero’s strategic development to 2030. This new refuelling facility in Osh is the company’s 66th refuelling complex, and its second in Kyrgyzstan — the company having started refuelling aircraft at Manas International Airport (the republic’s central airport) in 2011. Acquiring this refuelling complex in Omsk marks an important investment in developing our aviation refuelling network».

Gazpromneft-Aero plans to develop its refuelling infrastructure in Osh in line with international standards in aircraft ground handling. The company will also deploy the company’s standard technical policy governing fuel quality control and industrial and environmental safety.
